Product details
With one of pop history’s most characteristic intros and a disco vibe that gets any dance floor to vibrate, Dancing Queen is one of ABBA’s greatest hits. The song was included in ABBA’s fourth album Arrival in 1976 and climbed up to number one on the American Billboard charts. It is written by Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Stikkan Anderson and recorded in Glen Studio in Stocksund, Stockholm in 1975. Frida comments on her first impression of the song in the biography ABBA – The complete guide to their music: “Dancing Queen is my favorite among the ABBA songs. I remember when Benny first played it for me. I thought it was so incredibly beautiful that I started crying”. Dancing Queen is today ABBA’s most-streamed song ever, with almost a billion streams on Spotify.
