Product details
This kimono is a replica of Frida’s stage costume designed by Owe Sandström for the Japan tour in 1980. Sandström wanted to create something where Japanese and Swedish cultures meet, and decided to use a classic Japanese kimono design decorated with objects from the Swedish flora. For this pattern, Sandström used the shape of a kind of weed magnified in a microscope.

The ABBA Frida kimono is available in S/M (European size 36-38) and L/XL (European size 40-42).

ABBA POLAR CAPE

March 1980

A piece of pop art.
