Ahead of the 50-year anniversary of ABBA’s 1974 Eurovision triumph with ‘Waterloo’ in Brighton, ABBA The Museum commissioned the Swedish illustrator Andreas Bennwik to create a series of images based on the song’s music video:
"It represents ABBA at that particular time while also being quite timeless, with their brightly coloured outfits against a neutral white background. I wanted to create an illustration that feels hand-painted and contemporary, without being kitsch,’ he explained".
