ABBA Waterloo hoodie
Surrender yourself to the catchy lyrics of "wawawawawaterloo" with our black ABBA Waterloo hoodie, paying homage to ABBA's victory at the Eurovision song contest in 1974, which marked the beginning of their successful journey. Cozy and organic cotton hoodie with white 70s vibe print.
The date is April 6th, 1974, and on stage is the group known as ABBA. The win of the Eurovision Song Contest with ”Waterloo” marks the starting point of ABBA’s international career. ABBA stage looks, which were very unusual at the time, have inspired our ABBA 2024 Waterloo collection.
Wawawa
When ABBA was about to perform in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974, Frida entered a fashion shop called Gröna Moln och Blått Gräs in Stockholm. There she met a woman called Inger Svenneke who worked in the store at the time.
The magic of an unforgettable night
Frida and Inger Svenneke together created these colorful and original costumes for the Eurovision performance. The Waterloo costumes are almost as iconic as ABBA themselves, and have inspired our 2024 ABBA Waterloo collection in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Waterloo.
